That’s what some users complain about not doing. If WhatsApp Picture-in-Picture is not working on your iPhone, here are some solutions to help you fix it quickly.
۱. Check Picture in Picture Settings
To begin with, you need to check whether the Picture in Picture feature is enabled for your iPhone. This feature was introduced for iPhones with the release of iOS 15. After you enable the feature, it will work for every app that supports it, including WhatsApp. Here’s how to check the same.
Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on General.
Step 3: Tap on Picture in Picture.
Step 4: Tap the toggle next to ‘Start PiP Automatically’ to enable the feature.
Step 5: Close the Settings app and relaunch WhatsApp to check if the problem is solved.

If the feature is still not working in WhatsApp, you can force quit and relaunch WhatsApp to give it a fresh start. This will reload all your chats and might get the Picture in Picture feature working.
